I bought this camera a couple of weeks after it came out and so far I'm in love. I'm a total amateur, so I bought this camera as an intermediate between my pocket point and shoot and a full blown DSLR. I wanted to try some more sophisticated manual settings on a less expensive camera before buying a full DSLR outfit. I love all of the Auto settings and the manual feature has been an eye opening experience to shoot with. The video is very good quality and I'm impressed at sturdy it feels. As I use it more, I'm sure I'll update this, but my initial impressions are A+!
